Get Motivated

When you want to build muscle fast it is extremely important that before you do anything else that you get highly motivated before you embark on your mission to gain muscle so...

Make sure that you take at least 10 minutes to think about all the reasons why you want to build muscle whether it be to look better, to impress a girl or to get into the army and then focus on that outcome to drive you towards building the muscular body you want.

Pick the right plan

  • Do you want to build muscle to get bigger (meaning you'll go from skinny to bigger) OR... 
  • Do you want to build muscle & burn fat (meaning you'll go from overweight to leaner and muscular)

Make sure the plan you pick fits your muscle building goals that has you eating enough calories and lifting the right amounts of weights to get you the body you want but here's some advice you should follow...

If you're skinny and trying to build muscle then your goal should be to gain muscle (along with a little bit of fat) so it would not make any sense for you being skinny to try to "get ripped" when you don't have much fat to lose and vice versa...

If you're overweight then a mass gaining muscle plan would not fit you and it'd be best to go on a plan to get ripped where you build muscle and lose fat.

Get educated about supplements

  • Understand that the only thing that actually builds muscle is PROTEIN!
  • Understand that 99% of all the other supplements are a complete waste of money.
  • Understand that supplements are just "supplements" - they only help and not taking them will not make or break your dreams to build muscle.
  • People built muscle way before supplements were invented
